The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) together with the Member of Parliament for the Kwabre East constituency, Hon Fransisca Oteng Mensah have donated assorted items to some groups in Wonoo in the Kwabre East constituency.
Nana B was celebrating his birthday and the donations were done in memory of the late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir John).
The items included bags or rice, bags of sugar, boxes of cooking oil, boxes of canned fish, cartons of milk, assorted drinks and an undisclosed amount of money.
The groups were made up of widows, orphans, disabled and the needy.
Nana B who by his close association with the late CEO of the Forestry Commission, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir Joh) had become a friend of Wonoo, told the groups of his closeness to Sir John and the many developmental projects Sir John was pursuing for the community.
Nana B again reminded them of the wish and desire of the late Sir John to see President Nana Addo win the 2020 elections and continue the bold developmental agenda he is pursuing for Ghana.
He mentioned the FSHS policy, Nabco, the efficiency of the NHIA, job creation in the Forestry Commission among others, and asked that they go out and register in their numbers and ensure that they vote for the NPP government come December 2020 elections to realize the dreams of Sir John.
Nana B was joined by the MCE, Mr. Osei Assibey Bonsu, the Regional Organizer of Ashanti Region Mr Adomako Francis, and NPP Constituency Chairman of Kwabre East, Mr Opoku Agyeman Bonsu and other leaders of the party in the constituency.
