Huge crowd stormed the premises of Hello FM in Kumasi to welcome President Akufo-Addo to the garden city on Wednesday.
The President was at Hello FM for an interview with King Edward De Slave with the discussion on the popular free SHS, year of roads and the Coronavirus pandemic.
This forms part of President Akufo-Addo tour in the Ashanti Region to cut sod, inspects and commissions projects in the region.
The entire street where Hello FM is located was swarmed with people, who were hailing the President as his convoy passes by.
The president arrived at the Premises around 7 oclock in the evening, but that did not deter the crowd from waiting to catch a glimpse of President Akufo Addo and his entourage.
Most of them could be seen shouting the four more year for nana mantra, with huge traffic on the street for hours.
As the President was conducting the interview on Hello FM, the crowd of supporters were outside the premises of the radio station waiting and listening to the message President Akufo-Addo was cutting across to the people of Ashanti Region and Ghana at large.
President Akufo-Addo during the interview said that, he has done enough as President and is time for Ghanaians to judge in the forthcoming elections.
The President also touched on the Free Senior High School policy and urged the main opposition party’s flagbearer John Mahama to declare if he support the policy.
Ending the interview, President Akufo-Addo touched on number of projects his administration has done in the Ashanti Region alone, washing away the notion that his administration has done nothing for the Ashanti Region.
After the interview, President Akufo-Addo had an interaction with the massive crowd where he urged them to adhere to the coronavirus safety protocols though the country’s cases keep reducing.
He urged the main crowd to vote massively for the NPP in the forthcoming general elections for Ashanti Region to continue enjoying more of the developmental projects.
It is believed that President Akufo-Addo also had a citation from Despite Media Group, the owners of Hello FM.
