The current trend of FixTheCountry has led to some patrons of the Alcoholic drink known as Beer calling on the government to fix the current rise in the prices of the drink since they are unable to buy it.
According to them, they used to buy a bottle of beer for ghc6 but upon the 30% increment, they are now supposed to buy the drink at an increased rate of 2gh making it now Ghc8.
Speaking with one of the people who mostly patronize the drink, he revealed that, he is unhappy with the way it has been increased, and it’s making it hard for them to booze to their satisfaction.
“The country is hard and we cannot also booze in peace.. this is where the government should pay attention to and not the people demonstrating. As for us, we won’t demonstrate. We just sit here and drink” he said.
Many others who also expressed their views revealed that the government should do everything possible to reduce the current hardship in the country so as to ease the pressure on people.
