National Women’s Organizer of the People’s National Convention, Mad. Janet Nabla is accusing the National Chairman of the party, Bernard Mornah of being greedy and wanting to collapse the party for his selfish interest.
She says the party currently has no leadership and that Mr. Mornah cannot assume to be a leader of the party when equally he knows that the party is even yet to elect new leaders for the party after the expiration of their tenure as leaders.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ program with host Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, the aspiring General Secretary of the party also accused Bernard Mornah of also trying to fill in the various vacant positions of the party with his own people.
“Previously, the leader of the party, Dr. Edward Nasigiri Mahama had proposed that no one should use a cheque to pay for his or her filing fees after a cheque Mr. Mornah had presented at the previous elections failed to clear but because Mr. Mornah wants to fix his own people he has even reduced the filing fees to enable them to contest in the various elections and has succeeded in meeting some few executives of the party to execute his agenda,” she said..
“Mr. Mornah is a selfish ingrate who does not have the interest of the party at heart, whatever he is doing now is for selfish purposes. But we will not allow that to happen,” she added.
However, in a sharp response, the National Chairman of the party, Mr. Bernard Mornah denied all the allegations leveled against him.
“In as much as I do not want to wash our dirty linen in public, let set the records straight.”
“Dr. Edward Mahama has been in the known of everything we have been discussing as a party. I can forward all my correspondence through WhatsApp chats to you,” he told Okay FM’s Kwame Nkrumah Tikese.
“I am surprised Dr. Mahama will release his attacking dogs to attack me when he knows we have been doing the right thing since he left the party to engage in his ambassador at large duties.”
