A former presiding member; belonging to the camp of Alan Kyerematen, Abraham Boadi, aka ‘Opooman’ wants the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to suspend Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, the Member of Parliament for Effiduase-Asokore for allegedly dabbling in tribal politics and flouting the directives of the party.
Speaking in an interview on Neat FM’s Me Man Nti programme, Opooman said “Dr. Afriyie should be suspended for engaging in dangerous tribal politics which is against the 1992 constitution. This can result in chaos…you’re bringing religious and tribal conflicts but unfortunately he has not been called to order”
