Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has launched his foundation aimed at helping the youth through social-economic interventions.
Dubbed the Shatta Foundation, the musician is hoping to make social changes in areas like education, healthcare, human capital development capacity building and skill development.
Intervention in health will include but not limited to periodic medical screening and partnership with pharmaceutical companies to provide drugs to underprivileged.
Shatta Wale also launched a back to school campaign that will motivate kids to not only got to school but stay in school as well.
Taking to Twitter he wrote, “The primary aim for me and my team is to always put smile on people faces through entertainment and financial support.”
