Rufftown Records has set Friday, 19 February 2021 for the posthumous release of late Ebony Reigns’ song.
The single, titled John 8:7, features another Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay.
The Rufftown Records CEO, Ricky Nana Agyeman popularly known as Bullet, made the announcement via social media on the occasion of what would have been the late ‘Kupe’ hitmaker’s 24th birthday today.
To mark the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year’s birthday, Bullet penned down a heartwarming message.
He posted:
My Beloved Ebony, we are celebrating your day of birth even though you are so far away. Happy birthday to you, Queen.
My birthday gift to you this year is to release one of your favorite songs that you recorded which was so dear to your heart, because we composed it with your favorite verse in the Bible, John 8:7.
I remember in November 2017, after suffering a wardrobe malfunction at @4syte music awards, you came to me and asked, “Boss why are they doing this to me? Can we make a song to express how I feel?” But Bony to your surprise, everybody love you now o…interesting right? Now, they are doing the same thing they did to you to @wendyshayofficial. So, you and her on a song makes sense!
