Former Brazilian forward, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima has sent a message to Barcelona captain Lionel Messi over his exit issues at the club.
According to the Brazilian legend, Lionel Messi should stay at the club since his best years have been with them.
Lionel Messi was reportedly angry with management and players of the club after Barcelona suffered a humiliating 8-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The defeat makes it the 3 times in a row that the Catalan club has bowed out of the championship in a humiliating manner.
Lionel Messi who obviously seems worried over his lack of more champions league trophies was reportedly ready to leave the club with clubs like PSG, Juventus, and Manchester City all named as his possible destinations.
Brazilian legend, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima in an attempt to advise the 6-time Balon D’or winner said, during a webinar hosted by Santander,
‘It’s very unlikely that he’ll be able to leave Barcelona at the moment, especially when there’s a crisis of results’.
‘Messi is a reference for the team and, if I were Barcelona, I wouldn’t let him leave in any situation.
‘He has a great and strong relationship with the club and I don’t think he’ll stop being in love with the team.’
