
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang the vice-presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has visited the Odawna market to sympathize with the traders who had their goods been burnt on Wednesday dawn’s fire disaster.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang during her visit interacted with the ladies whose goods have been burnt whiles she analyzed the severity of the incident.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang called for assistance for the victims in the “restoration and rehabilitation process.”
Personnel from the Ghana Fire Service and the Ghana Police Service had to rush to the scene when the fire started, to fight it and protect lives and property.
The cause of the fire is still unknown but investigations have begun into finding the real cause of the fire outbreak.
