The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, has visited the wife of the former president, the late Jerry John Rawlings.
His visit is in line with the great loss that has hit the country hard in the face. The president visited the former first lady to extend his condolence and to assure her of his unflinching support as she goes through these trying moments.
The president went with a delegation of government officials to console Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, widow of the late Jerry John Rawlings.
The president’s visit was preceded by the Vice president, Dr. Bawumia as well as Madam Frema Opare Addo, the Chief of Staff, as well as other government officials.
