Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Brown, popularly known as Kelvynboy has finally opened up on why he walked out of the VGMA 2020 when he lost the Afrobeat song of the year to Dope Nation at the just ended 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The ‘Mea’ singer walked out of the VGMA event when the award for the Afrobeat song of the year was announced and he didn’t get it.

Explaining why he walked out of the show, he said that he had planned to go somewhere at the time and so he would have still walked off even if he had won the award.

he stressed that his leaving the VGMA grounds had nothing to do with the award he lost.
