Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate in the US presidential election, has said he has no doubt that he and Senator Kamala Harris will be declared winners when all ballots are counted.
The presidential candidate speaking in a briefing on Thursday, November 5, said votes are sacred in America and called for every ballot to be counted in accordance with the will of voters.
Biden said he and Kamala Harris feel very good about where things stand at the moment.
He urged Americans to stay calm, emphasising that the process is working and the vote count would soon be completed. The Democratic candidate also raised concerns about the rising COVID-19 deaths in the country which he said is nearing almost 240,000 cases.
He sympathised with everyone who has lost a loved one to the disease.
