Founder of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo has stated emphatically that Menzgold customers will never get their money back.
According to Kofi Akpaloo, right from the onset, he knew that the embattled boss of failed gold dealership Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 was a scam and that his outfit was a fraudulent venture.
He made this revelation in an interview on Accra-based Kingdom Plus FM.
Kofi Akpaloo disclosed that the opulence displayed by NAM1 should have caused state authorities to arrest him.
He added that any serious jurisdiction would have arrested NAM1 for venturing into the fake gold dealership business and displaying his wealth.
“When I first sighted Nam1’s business building at Lagos Avenue I enquired what was happening and immediately knew it was a Ponzi scheme. If Menzgold customers are hopeful of retrieving their monies I want to state it on authority that it has gone to vanish and it is lost forever” Kofi Akpaloo disclosed.
