Agona West NDC will forever relish this day, when the unassuming, charismatic, dedicated and hardworking MP for Gomoa West, Hon Richard Gyan Mensah, took time out of his busy schedules to visit Agona West Constituency, a sister Constituency and an “orphaned” one, during a special meeting with Agona Swedru Branch Execs, Election Directors, Council of elders,election directorate, former Constituency Execs etc
In his brief but rich message to the enthusiastic gathering, the Hon MP whiles commending the execs for their spirited effort towards the reorganization also charged the Maxwell Kofi Quist led Constituency Execs and the Branch Execs to continue giving their all to the cause of the party by working hard at the base, to help the party win power, so that they can be duly acknowledged and rewarded when the party wins power in the 2024 elections.
The Hon MP prior to his speech, exchanged pleasantries with all branch execs, had separate meeting with the Assembly Members Present to discuss very strategic issues of mutual concern and extended the warm regards from the Central Regional NDC MPs caucus and assured us of the support of the activities of the Constituency as well as other “orphaned” Constituencies within the region.
He made a donation of GHc 2000 to help the Execs in their Reorganization Engagements with the grassroots, after a request was made to him by the Constituency Execs.
The Constituency Chairman, after receiving the donation on behalf of the Constituency, thanked the Hon MP for the kind gesture and the show of comradeship, and even more importantly, for honoring our invitation at a relatively short notice.
