Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the first lady of the Republic of Ghana has encouraged Ghanaians to vote massively for her husband and President, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
According to the first lady, the performance of the current administration has been superb hence deserves another term. She said the government has not disappointed Ghanaians as far as good policies and implementations are concerned.
Her excellency the first lady, Rebecca Akuffo Addo was speaking to some party supporters at the Odododiodio Constituency in the Greater Accra region as part of her campaign tour.
Comparing the performance of the NPP administration to the Mahama led administration, the first lady was of the view that the Akuffo Addo led government has been fantastic in all his ways.
She said;
The NPP government has handled the economy very well. We keep seeing growth in all spheres of the sectors.
She spoke about the continuity of the free education policy, women empowerment amongst other social interventions the government will put in place when they are retained in power.
She also appealed to the electorate to vote for the parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the NPP in order to ensure an NPP majority in Parliament again.
In her final words, the first lady reiterated the need for peaceful coexistence and peaceful deliberations on matters. she encouraged all and sundry to live at peace and to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party.
“I will appeal to you all to give the president four more years in office,”
