Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Nuhu will undergo surgery after a partial tear of his right anterior cruciate ligament.
Nuhu was substituted in the 70th minute due to the injury during Eupen’s 1-0 win against Beerschot in the Belgian top-flight on Saturday.
Ghanasoccernet.com understands the operation will be done in the coming days and Nuhu will take a long time to return to full fitness.
This is unfortunate for the 19-year-old who has settled at Eupen and is a key member of the squad.
