Reports have emerged that workers with media houses on the stables of EIB Network, the media conglomeration owned by Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, have gone unpaid for over 12 months.
Meanwhile, as the workers wallow in penury, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, owner of the network has reportedly been blowing money on a campaign that he is building to back a contest for the flagbearership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to information, some workers of the network were shocked when Dr. Dufuor gave an interview on the flagship TV station of the EIB Network, GHOne and revealed that his campaign for the NDC’s 2024 flagbearership is a solid one without money problems.
Dr. Dufuor revealed he had no money problems even though the Management of various EIB Networks have been shifting the goal post on when exactly workers’ salaries can be paid.
Reportedly, in September, there was a promise to clear the salary arrears training back 12 months, however, only two out of the 12 months were paid.
Staff are said to be beside themselves with anguish because the failure to pay them would translate into a dry Christmas holiday for them.
The EIB Network is owned by businessman Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and headed by popular entrepreneur and philanthropist, Kwabena Anokye Adisi aka Bola Ray
