Popular Ghanaian gospel singer, Cwesi Oteng has openly declared his love and support for the flagbearer of the new patriotic party, Nana Akuffo Addo.
According to the award-winning gospel artiste, plans made by the government to but up the national cathedral is a profound project that has to be supported by all and sundry. Cwesi is of the view that, he would always support Nana Akuffo Addo for the heart he has for the body of Christ.
Cwesi Oteng said;
in 2016, i emdorsed the candidature of President Akuffo Addo based on track records and amturity for the rule of law
He further said;
as time went on, I realized you don’t just endorse for endorsing sake, you endorse with a message and this particular election, I endorsed him because of his agenda to build a National Cathedral. The whole idea to build a National Cathedral is something that moves me.
The God dey bless hitmaker was of the view that anyone who honours God and wants to do something for God in this magnitude for the Christian community deserves applause. According to Cwesi Oteng, for a long time, there hasn’t been a president who has had this vision ever for the body of Christ. Such a person, according to Cwesi Oteng, is worth having and supporting.
The Gospel artist made these revelations while being interviewed by Okay Fms Halifax on the ‘Best Entertainment Show”.
