❗Our journey so far…
In October 2017 and January 2018 when our wonderful and dedicated team visited the Christ Outreach orphanage at kaimebr3, a small community in kasoa.
Observing how the children at the orphanage were happily enjoying their drinks and biscuits and their gratitude towards the food items and toiletries we sent to them kept us thinking.
We see quite a number of children and people living with disabilities on our streets as we walk or drive along the streets. Most of these children only need a plate of food to survive a day.
➖sometimes our busy schedule does not permit us to embark on charity work
➖or possibly an avenue or opportunity to bless a wonderful soul is all we need
All these thoughts clouding our minds gave birth to Christmas on the street in December 2018 a great opportunity and avenue to extend love to others who most need it.
In the last three years, and by your generous support, over 650 individuals on various streets in Accra have had a taste of WIP’s Christmas Day special treat.
This year, collaborating with the Church of Pentecost (Kitase District) we are aiming to spread the love of Christmas to 300 natives of Aburi-Konkonuri comprising
▪️the aged,
▪️widows,
▪️underprivileged children on Christmas Day.
▪️As has been our tradition, we will make a donation to a school in the community.
