The body of founder of the National Democratic Congress, former President Jerry John Rawlings, will be laid to rest today.
The burial is scheduled to take place at the Military Cemetery at Burma Camp after the burial service at the Independence Square.
Among many events to take place is a-21-gun salute by the military in honour of Flight Lieutenant Rawlings.
