The Chief of Begoro in the Eastern Region, a police officer, and hired thugs were nearly lynched in the Dadeso community.

On Saturday, June 27, 2021, Osabarima Ayirepe II, acting Chief of Begoro stormed the Dedeso community with 20 thugs on board a Kia Bongo truck with registration number GW 551-21 and a motorbike with a one-armed police escort.

They stormed the land and started assaulting farmers working on the land.

This triggered a violent response from the community who armed themselves to square off with the Chief and his thugs.

The community members set the vehicles the Chief and his thugs brought to the community.

They had to take to their heels as the anger in the community reached its peak.
