Members of the Assin Fosu Municipal Assembly have overwhelmingly voted to Confirm Mr. Nicholas Fiifi Baako as the Municipal Chief Executive for the second term.
He polled 20 votes of the 22 valid votes cast to secure a 91% confirmation from the Jubilant Assembly Members.
The elections, which was supervised by the Central Regional Minister Hon Justina Marigold Assan in attendance with Mr Kingsley Agyei Boahene,Chief Director, Regional Coordinating Council, DCOP Dennis Abade, Deputy Regional Commander of Police, Mrs. Gladys Pinkra, Regional Electoral Commissioner, Hon Charles Ohene Andoh, DCE, Assin North District, Mr Ekow Smith Danquah, National First Vice Chairman Hopeful, Mr Richard Takyi Mensah, Central Regional Secretary for NPP and Hon Bismarck Baasi Nkum, NALAG President and DCE for Gomoa West.
Mr Nicholas Fiifi Baako who is to take into office as the Second MCE for Assin Fosu, upon taking the oath of office after victory, expressed his gratitude to Members of the Assembly for his confirmation and gave assurances that he will consult and work with them and all relevant stakeholders towards the development of the Municipal.
