The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has urged an 11-member delegation from Ethiopian Political Parties to learn to build-on their own culture, traditions and foundation in practicing democratic governance.
The Speaker said this to the delegation when they paid a courtesy call on him in Parliament on Thursday, 11 August 2021.
He tasked the group to adopt some of Ghana’s concepts of governance that has enabled the west African country to attain a peaceful democratic governance.
The purpose of the visit of the delegation to Ghana is to have a dialogue on censuses building and to know how Ghana’s Parliament has been able to manage transitions in the Fourth Republic.
