Visually impaired young Ghanaian singer, Adelaide Bortier, a stage named Adelaide The Seer, has revealed why she has the Seer attached to her name.
Speaking in an interview with Abena Ghana on the ‘Journey Show, Adelaide said her predicament started when she was in Senior High School (SHS). Since then, the actress believes that despite her inability to see with her eyes, she is able to visualize things with her mind which eventually happen.
Speaking on her life story, Adelaide the Seer said her life has been like a roller coaster with so many ups and downs. I have learned great lessons from all of my life events. The truth is as human as I am, I have days when I cry and feel very low. But anytime this happens, I try to wipe my tears and remain stronger because there are many other people who take their inspiration from me. It is not easy with life, but I believe that everything in life happens for a reason.
Like my disability, I know God has a purpose for this and that it won’t be permanent. I believe that one day God will restore my sight. She Said.
