Christian Eriksen (29) visited his club Inter’s training center this morning. The Danish midfielder, who went into cardiac arrest on Saturday 12 June, feels ‘very good.

Happy faces at the ‘Suning Training Centre’ in Appiano Gentile today. Eriksen arrived there in good health, Inter said in a statement. He had an appointment with the management, coach, and his teammates.

Eriksen feels very good both physically and mentally. His recovery continues to be monitored by Danish doctors in Copenhagen. Inter’s medical staff will remain in contact with them.”

Eriksen had a conversation with technical director Giuseppe Marotta about his future plans. It is not yet clear whether the Danish will continue his football career. In Serie A that will be very difficult anyway, because in Italy footballers are not allowed to play with a defibrillator.

This means Christian Eriksen’s football career could be coming to an end this summer. But it is too early to say, so all we have to do is to wait and pray for him.
