The Bankroller of Kumasi King Faisal has expressed pains over the failure of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu to support his club despite being in Kumasi for years.
Although he accepted respecting the traditional leader, he said he feels sad the king failed to help his team.
Alhaji Grusah stated that he only respects the king because of his throne, but he is not happy that he has not received any support.
For this reason, he is no longer going to operate the team in Kumasi.
He hinted at plans of relocating the team to Techiman FC.
According to him, Kumasi’s plot was to see his team relegated, but he has escaped relegation.
He was speaking to Isaac Worlanyo Wallace on Total Sports Review on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
”Shame on Kotoko. I have escaped relegation. Kotoko planned to see my team relegated. I respect the Asantehene, but from today, I would be relocating my team to Techiman. I have stayed in Kumasi for several years, but he has never supported me.”
