President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is to name New York-trained lawyer Kissi Agyebeng as Special Prosecutor after his name was submitted by the office of the Attorney General, Dailymailgh.com can confirm.
Agyebeng is the lawyer of redoubtable investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The 43-year-old lawyer and managing partners at Cromwell Gray LLP is to replace Martin Amidu, who resigned in November, 2020, three weeks to the general elections.
Amidu resigned from office over what he called “executive interference” in his work as Special Prosecutor. A charge that was vehemently denied by the Presidency.
