The Tema Oil Refinery has described as unsubstantiated claims by Woodfields Energy Resources Ltd, an indigenous Ghanaian petroleum company that, the Refinery caused some form of shortfalls to their (Woodfields) products which were siting in the tanks of TOR.
Woodfields energy in a statement on Tuesday with regards to a report of withholding payment of monies they owed the Tema Oil Refinery, denied owing the refinery, and further claiming the Tema Oil Refinery had rather caused them some 5.7 million dollars in shortfalls to products which were being kept in the Refinery’s tanks.
However, TOR in a statement signed by its Corporate and Public Affairs Manager, described claims by Woodfields as misleading.
According to TOR, at no point in their transaction with Woodfields Energy for the safe keeping of their products, was any shortfall established, and that claims by the latter are a figment of its imagination.
TOR said the enormous impression being created by Woodfields should be ignored.
TOR said it values the professional relationship established with Woodfields Energy and all other clients, and will therefore not resort to ways that will jeopardize same.
TOR further assured customers of its commitment to delivering services to the highest standards.
