Exclusive information available to My News Ghana has it that former Central Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress Mr Allotey Jacobs has grabbed a new deputy ministerial appointment from the New Patriotic Party.
Mr Allotey Jacobs who was suspended by the Functional Executive Committee of the NDC over anti party conduct when asked in an interview if he will accept an appointment from the New Patriotic Party Government opined that the Lord’s ways are mysterious therefore he will accept any opportunity of such as long as it remains God’s will for his life.
Deep throat sources have indicated that the NDC stalwart will be serving as the Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources.
Mr Allotey Jacobs according to the source has reached all necessary negotiations and has accepted the offer to serve under the New Patriotic Party.
The appointment has been approved by the top echelon of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) pending an official announcement from the presidency and subsequent approval by Parliament’s appointment committee.

On February 2, 2021, a tweet from @LGBTRightsGhana showed photos of the opening of the LGBTI office in Accra.
Among those present at the event were the Australian Ambassador to Ghana, Gregory Andrews; the Danish Ambassador to Ghana, Tom Norring; a representative of the European Union in Ghana; and controversial musician, Wanlov the Kubolor.
At the time, while it was unclear where exactly the office was located, or, what the creation of the office aimed to achieve, many calls were made for it to be closed.
Among those strongly advocating against the practice of the LGBTQ+ community in Ghana, is Moses Foh Amoaning, the Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, who has described the acts of this community as a new form of neocolonialism.
In the heat of all that was going on, it was reported by some tabloids that the president had ordered for the closure of the office, information only sourced to Moses Foh Amoaning.
