Uganda electoral commission has finally decided the winner of their just ended 2021 presidential battle.
It was not an easy battle but the sitting president who has been on the seat for 35years has once again won.
Yoweri Museveni according to BBC Africa secured 58.6% votes whiles his rival who is popularly known as Bobi Wine secured 34.8% votes. A lot went on throughout the voting process with Bobi Wine and his team as well as his family going through the worse.
Many called Museveni a dictator with how he managed things by preventing external journalists from entering the country to take coverage of the election as well as cutting of Internet connection so people won’t get access to what is going on in the country.
Museveni who has been in power for 35years surely knows the ins and out of every sector and will surely not give up for Bobi Wine to overthrow him from the seat but with what Bobi Wine has done, he will surely be remembered.
Congratulations to Meseveni for retaining the seat and congratulations to Uganda for a peaceful election.
