Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, has reprimanded the Ghana Police for depicting the captured counterfeit attorney as a ‘phony Western Togo Land’ legal counselor.
The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service has captured one Dennis Seyram Benson who strutted himself as the attorney for suspects in the continuous case including Western Togoland secessionists.
Mr Benson, 42, was captured on Thursday, December 17 at the Kaneshie District Court ‘2’ where he had turned up for his customers.
Affirmed counterfeit lawyer for Western Togoland
As indicated by a police discharge gave by DSP Juliana Obeng, the Head of the Public Affairs Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department on Thursday, December 18, the speculate had been speaking to the Western Togoland secessionists since the initiation of the case in September.
“His attitude stirred doubt which made the Police to research his experience and it worked out that he was not an attorney,” she said.
Remarking on the advancement in a tweet, Mr Dafeamekpor said “Ghana Police Service; this is totally unsuitable: This is nauseating.
“Is the presume a phony legal counselor or he is a ‘phony Western Togoland legal advisor’? Is there anything like Western Togoland Lawyers in Ghana? What at all has this nation been decreased to? Quit generalizing VR.”
