The Convention People’s Party has advised participants of the Special voters, namely, the security personnel, journalists, and other citizens not to waste their votes. The CPP has advised all Special Voters to vote for the CPP and not to vote for the two disappointing parties.
Over 109,000 voters from 12 institutions are expected to partake in the special voting to enable them handle their respective duties during the December 7 polls.
According to the CPP, it is a waste of votes to vote for the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party.
According to the Presidential Candidate of the CPP, Mr. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, the country has suffered enough for the past 28 years, and now is the time to vote for change. He said this at a press conference in Accra.
He said;
“For 28 years the evidence is clear for all and sundry that their ideas have failed. If something has failed it is your duty to look for an alternative and we are presenting ourselves as that alternative. The wasted vote is voting for the NDC and the NPP”
Mr. Greensreet said the CPP will make history using its electric shock campaign, adding that critics of the campaign are threatened by the imminent defeat of the two major parties in the upcoming elections.
He added that;
” We are pleading with you to tell them that enough is enough. And that is why you must give them the electric shock by voting for the CPP. People are even criticizing our attempt to use theater to demonstrate how to give the two parties the electric shock. So the electric shock is coming. It is only a matter of seven days away”
