The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, President Nana Akufo-Addo, as part of his campaign tour in parts of the Greater Accra region, has asked traders at the Mallam market to vote for him so he could continue with the good works he has started.
The December elections come off in less than two weeks, hence the need to solicit votes from the general public. the president pleaded with the traders, most of whom are women to vote for the NPP government so that the good works the government has started wouldn’t be cut off.
he said;
“If you are happy about the work we have done in the last four years, I am asking you to vote for me to continue this work. I didn’t lie to you or deceive you, I said what I could do and delivered.”
Speaking with the market women, the President stated that Ghanaians should reject the NDC and John Mahama because they have nothing new to offer Ghanaians. According to Nana Akuffo Addo, the NDC is an epitome of doom, hence, when Ghanaians vote them into power, then the country will be doomed.
“The former President that you voted out made a lot of promises before he was voted into power so why didn’t he do it? He has nothing new to offer Ghanaians, he is just deceiving us. We have a lot to do for Ghanaians so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”
The President introduced the Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma North, Ms. Shiela Bartels to the constituents and pleaded with them to vote massively for their MP as well as He, Nana Akuffo Addo.
He said;
“I want you to vote for Shiela Bartels as the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North. She is the one NPP has chosen for her to come and stand-in for us and help,”
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo began a two-day tour of the Greater Accra Region, yesterday, Tuesday, November 24.
The tour began with the commissioning of phase 1 of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange at Abossey Okai in the Ablekuma Central constituency.
