Leading member of the New Patriotic Party, and founder of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has responded to recent attacks on politicians by the founder of Perez Chapel, Bishop Charles Agyinasare.
Responding to words of the Bishop that politicians of today does not allow themselves to be criticized, Gabby said,
“As a pastor, you cannot talk if you don’t have your facts right. People listen to you because they know you speak with authority so you should get it right.”
He added that democracy is always a two-way stream and that anyone ready to criticise should be ready to receive responses for their criticism.
He added, “You are not a dog when you criticise or attack but when people who support the government respond they are dogs? Don’t say people are intolerable when they respond to you or is that what God teaches you?”
