Ali of Date rush fame has reiterated his love for sensational female artist Wendy Shay.
In a previous interview granted to Ghanaweb, Ali, whose appearance on Date Rush turned him into an overnight celebrity, said he adores Wendy Shay and would jump at the chance to date her if the occasion arises.
“I am interested in dating Wendy Shay. Everything about her appeals to me. Her brand and the way she presents herself appeal to me. She lives in freedom and is unaffected by criticism. During the interview, he firmly stated, “I just love her and if she is watching, I am her number one fan.”
Speaking in a recent interview with Actress Abena Ghana on the Journey Show, Ali reiterated his fondness for the “Uber driver” hitmaker.
“Wendy Shay is my crush. I have never messaged her on IG or said anything to her about my love for her, but If I grab her…”
“She’s a nice person, I don’t admire her because of her waist or anything but she’s a very nice and cool lady. I always feel happy whenever I see her perform” Ali said on the Journey Show.
Speaking about his relationship with Shemima from Date Rush, Ali revealed their relationship has actually fallen apart.
“We were in a relationship for a while and I really enjoyed her but we are currently not together”
“The Date Rush show is very real, It’s the love we’re all looking for so if it works for you, fine…”
On how he broke up with Shemima, Ali stated that “She was getting lots of DMs and stuff because of her fame.”
“So through that, she met Papa no who even sent her to Dubai. So I realized it was not going to work out for me cos I don’t have that money to sponsor her for Dubai trips”
” I was really hurt because I loved her so much. Because She loved me I also had love for her”, Ali added
