The long-awaited 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards musical showpiece takes off today.
The two-day event, happening tonight and on Saturday, will project the glitz and glam of the red-carpet reception and eclectic live performances from the best acts Ghana has to offer.
Also, numerous awards are up for grabs as musicians battle it out in over 20 categories.
Some of the categories many fans are looking forward to include New Artiste of the Year, Record of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Act of the year, Rapper of the Year and the highest award of the night Artiste of the Year.
With the likes of Gyakie, Dead Peepol, Mr Drew, Larusso, Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Kweku Flick, Amerado, Camidoh, Amerado in the New Artiste Category, the competition is extremely tough.
The night also features performances from Efya, Yaayaa, KiDi, Epixode, Okyame Kwame, Sister Afia, Larusso, Fameye, Kofi Kinaata, Dopenation, Bethel Revival Choir, Dead Peepol, Eno Barony and many others.
