Candidates are currently preparing for their first Core courses and their corresponding elective subjects for the 2023 WASSCE. The sale of 2023 WASSCE questions and answers puts the integrity of WAEC in jeopardy.
All senior high school students in West Africa take the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) once a year as an external test. The previous few years have seen questions leaked days or hours before a test, which is tempting pupils to not study.
Similar to the previous year, there were numerous leaks of questions and answers for both the Core Mathematics and Elective Mathematics examinations hours before those exams were to be given.
An image has been spotted online with the notion of selling WASSCE questions with answers.

Additionally, attached was a note that read: “All papers drop a day or dawn before paper”
The seller of these questions also said free Oral questions for both English and French papers will be provided.
This serves as a wake-up call for WAEC Ghana and the Ghana Education Service (GES). They should find a long-term remedy to the leakage of exam questions as a step toward eliminating examination misconduct. These dealers may have connections with insiders; as a result, they are able to obtain the WASSCE questions and answers and sell them to gullible applicants.
Candidates are urged to stop doing these activities because there is no such thing as an “APOR.” It is advisable for candidates to only concentrate on their textbooks and sample questions.
How do these vendors magically obtain the actual WASSCE questions if WAEC and GES have nothing to do with the leakage of WASSCE questions?
